TEDxFarmingdale

An Independently Organized TED Event

TEDxFarmingdale 2021 Tickets

TICKET SALES ARE OPEN!

IMPORTANT NOTES TO ATTENDEES: Your ticket purchase cost helps to defray the cost of the event, production, filming, editing, etc. Charlotte’s Speakeasy offers a food and drink menu. There is a TWO DRINK MINIMUM at the venue and that cost is NOT INCLUDED in your ticket price. Although our venue this year is a bar, attendees under 21 will be allowed entry since this is a private event (21 and over will be stamped for alcohol purchase approval). We ask that attendees be limited to teenager and above. We are not allowing small children entry due to production concerns as we are filming these talks in a fairly intimate space and we cannot risk video or audio issues during filming. Thank you for your understanding

SAFETY GUIDELINES: We will be following Nassau County guidelines for bars/restaurants at the venue. Vaccinated attendees do not need to wear a mask to the event. Non-vaccinated attendees are required to wear a mask while entering the event and while moving around the space, but not while seated and drinking/eating. Please be respectful of others at our event. Safety guidelines remain in-flux and we reserve the right to change policies as the ongoing situation evolves.

PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING – ATTENDEE NAMES & ACCESSIBILITY NOTE: Once you purchase tickets you will receive an email link to a questionnaire page. On this page, please answer the questions regarding the need for:

  • an ASL interpreter for the hearing impaired
  • ADA compliant accessibility
  • names of attendees for multi-ticket purchases

Please note that Charlotte’s Speakeasy is located on the basement level of the building and is not ADA compliant at the moment. We are currently working with an accessibility rental company to install a ramp rear (alternate) staircase entrance, but those arrangements are still in-flux. If you have accessibility issues, please contact us at info@tedxfarmingdale.com before purchasing to discuss. We acknowledge fully that our decision this year to hold our event at this venue has excluded the disabled community and we are working diligently to correct this oversight. We thank you for your patience as we work to create a more inclusive event.
